Abstract
An animation of a plurality of regions is provided to recap, in under a minute, a respective price action of each of a plurality of stocks over a course of a day. Each of the regions has a respective color that changes during the animation to recap, in under the minute, respective price changes of its respective one of the stocks over the course of the day.
Claims12
A method comprising:
- providing an animation of a plurality of regions to recap, in under a minute, a respective price action of each of a plurality of stocks over a course of a day, each of the regions having a respective color that changes during the animation to recap, in under the minute, respective price changes of its respective one of the stocks over the course of the day, the regions being organized based on a selection by a financial news service of a newsworthy stock of the plurality of stocks to show how buying or selling pressure in the newsworthy stock spreads to other stocks of the plurality of stocks over the course of the day, wherein said providing the animation is performed by at least one computer.
A computer-readable storage medium encoded with a computer program, the computer program to cause a computer system to:
- provide an animation of a plurality of regions to recap, in under a minute, a respective price action of each of a plurality of stocks over a course of a day, each of the regions having a respective color that changes during the animation to recap, in under the minute, respective price changes of its respective one of the stocks over the course of the day, the regions being organized based on a selection by a financial news service of a newsworthy stock of the plurality of stocks to show how buying or selling pressure in the newsworthy stock spreads to other stocks of the plurality of stocks over the course of the day.
An apparatus comprising:
- a display device to display an animation of a plurality of regions to recap, in under a minute, a respective price action of each of a plurality of stocks over a course of a day, each of the regions having a respective color that changes during the animation to recap, in under the minute, respective price changes of its respective one of the stocks over the course of the day, the regions being organized based on a selection by a financial news service of a newsworthy stock of the plurality of stocks to show how buying or selling pressure in the newsworthy stock spreads to other stocks of the plurality of stocks over the course of the day.
