• the information recording medium having
• a first area in which a video file is recorded,
• the video file including a plurality of extents,
• the video file including an unrecorded area and a video object,
• the unrecorded area being able to store new video data,
• the video object having video object units,
• one of the video object units containing video packs, audio packs, and one begin pack,
• each of the video packs and the audio packs having a predetermined size, and
• said begin pack including recording time information on the corresponding video object unit;
• a second area in which a management file is recorded,
• the management file including video management information, the video management information having program chain information,
• the program chain information containing cell information representing a cell,
• the cell referring to a whole or a part of the video object, and
• the video file, the management file, and a back up file being stored under a DVD-RTR directory;
• and
• a third area in which file management information is recorded,
• the file management information including a file entry (FE) and a File Identifier Descriptor (FID),
• the file entry specifying a location of the video file,
• the file entry including an allocation descriptor having length information on one of the extents and position information on the one of the extents,
• the file entry including a descriptor tag which contains “261”,
• the file entry including ICB tag specifying a file type, and the meaning of the file type being defined as a file data when the file type shows “5”, and
• the file entry including permission field representing information on permission to record, read, and delete,
• the information reproducing method comprising:
• reading the video management information, and
• reproducing the video object included in the video file based on the read video management information.

• the unrecorded area being able to store new video data,
• the video object having video object units,

• said begin pack including recording time information on the corresponding video object unit;
• a second area in which a management file is recorded,
• the management file including video management information, the video management information having program chain information,

• the cell referring to a whole or a part of the video object, and
• the video file, the management file, and a back up file being stored under a DVD-RTR directory;
• and
• a third area in which file management information is recorded,

• generating the new video data;
• recording the new video data into the video file;
• and
• changing the video management information.

An information reproducing apparatus reproducing information from an information recording medium,

• the information recording medium having
• a first area in which a video file is recorded,
• the video file including a plurality of extents,
• the video file including an unrecorded area and a video object,
• the unrecorded area being able to store new video data,
• the video object having video object units,
• one of the video object units containing video packs, audio packs, and one begin pack,
• each of the video packs and the audio packs having a predetermined size, and
• said begin pack including recording time information on the corresponding video object unit;
• a second area in which a management file is recorded,
• the management file including video management information, the video management information having program chain information,
• the program chain information containing cell information representing a cell,
• the cell referring to a whole or a part of the video object, and
• the video file, the management file, and a back up file being stored under a DVD-RTR directory;
• and
• a third area in which file management information is recorded,

• the file entry specifying a location of the video file,

• a reading unit configured to read the video management information;
• and
• a reproducing unit configured to reproduce the video object included in the video file based on the read video management information.
