Abstract
The disclosure provides, among other things, novel angiogenesis-related nucleic acids, polypeptides and methods of use.
Claims5
A method for inhibiting pro-angiogenic activities of endothelial cells selectively at a site of neoangiogenesis in a mammal, the method comprising administering to the mammal with said site of neoangiogenesis a pharmaceutical preparation comprising a polypeptide comprising a truncated extracellular D1-1 polypeptide that (a) is at least 95% identical to SEQ ID NO:
- 5, 11, 17, or 23, or (b) is encoded by a nucleic acid sequence that is at least 99% identical to SEQ ID NO:
- 2, 8, 14, or 20, wherein said extracellular D1-1 polypeptide has angiogenesis inhibitory activity.
