Printing a subscription using a mobile device

A system for printing a subscription on a valid print medium, the system comprising:

• a handheld cellular telephone which comprises:
• an input at which a print medium is loaded into the telephone;
• a printer module;
• and,
• a sensor module to sense a print media identifier of the loaded print medium,
• wherein the handheld cellular telephone uses the sensed print media identifier to determine whether or not the loaded print medium is a valid print medium on which printing can be performed by the printer module,
• if the loaded print medium is determined to be valid, the handheld cellular telephone controlling the print module to print the subscription on the loaded print medium, and
• if the loaded print medium is determined to not be valid, the handheld cellular telephone ejecting the loaded print medium at the input.
