## Abstract

Cytokines and their receptors have proven usefulness in both basic research and as therapeutics. The present invention provides a new human cytokine receptor designated as “Zcytor14.”

## Claims

### Claim 1

An isolated polynucleotide that encodes a Zcytor14 polypeptide comprising amino acid residues 21 to 452 of SEQ ID NO:2.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The isolated polynucleotide of claim 1, wherein the polynucleotide comprises a nucleotide sequence selected from the group consisting of: SEQ ID NO:1 and SEQ ID NO:3.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The isolated polynucleotide of claim 1, wherein the polynucleotide encodes a polypeptide comprising an amino acid sequence selected from the group consisting of:
(a) amino acid residues 21 to 677 of SEQ ID NO:2, and
(b) amino acid residues 1 to 692 of SEQ ID NO:2.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The isolated polynucleotide of claim 1, wherein the encoded polypeptide consists of an amino acid sequence selected from the group consisting of:
(a) amino acid residues 21 to 452 of SEQ ID NO:2,
(b) amino acid residues 21 to 677 of SEQ ID NO:2, and
(c) amino acid residues 1 to 692 of SEQ ID NO:2.

### Claim 5

An isolated polynucleotide consisting of a nucleotide sequence selected from the group consisting of: (a) SEQ ID NO:1, and (b) SEQ ID NO:3.

### Claim 6

An isolated polynucleotide that encodes a fusion protein, said fusion protein comprising:
amino acid residues 21 to 452 of SEQ ID NO:2; and
an immunoglobulin heavy chain constant region.

### Claim 7 (depends on 6)

The isolated polynucleotide of claim 6, wherein the immunoglobulin heavy chain constant region is an Fc fragment.

### Claim 8 (depends on 7)
