Abstract
A thermal management system (201) is provided herein which comprises a plurality of heat sources (203), a heat exchanger (205), a plurality of heat pipes (207) in thermal communication with said heat exchanger, and a synthetic jet actuator (211) adapted to direct a synthetic jet upon or across a surface of said heat exchanger.

A thermal management system, comprising:
- a chassis which encloses an interior space;
- a duct which extends through said interior space and which is in open communication with the environment exterior to the chassis;
- a synthetic jet actuator disposed on an interior surface of said duct;
- and
- a heat pipe disposed on a surface of said duct.
