Abstract
In a method for sorting PTC elements having different resistance-temperature characteristics, a predetermined voltage that allows a current to sufficiently decay is applied to each of PTC elements A and B, and the PTC elements are sorted on the basis of the difference between the times required for the currents passing through the PTC elements B to reach a predetermined value (e.g., 52 mA).

A method for sorting PTC elements having different resistance-temperature characteristics, the method comprising the steps of:
- applying to each of the PTC elements a predetermined voltage that allows a current to sufficiently decay;
- and
- sorting the PTC elements on the basis of a difference between the times required for the currents passing through the PTC elements to reach a predetermined current value.
A method for sorting PTC elements having different resistance-temperature characteristics, the method comprising:
- applying to each of the PTC elements a predetermined voltage that allows a current to sufficiently decay;
- and
- sorting the PTC elements on the basis of a difference between the current values passing through the PTC elements when a predetermined time has elapsed.
A method for sorting PTC elements having different resistance-temperature characteristics, the method comprising:
- applying to each of the PTC elements a predetermined voltage that allows a current to sufficiently decay;
- and
- sorting the PTC elements on the basis of differences between the times required for the currents passing through the PTC elements to reach a plurality of predetermined current values.

- applying to each of the PTC elements a plurality of predetermined voltages that allow a current to sufficiently decay;
- and
- sorting the PTC elements on the basis of differences between the current values passing through the PTC elements when a predetermined time has elapses.
