Abstract
The present invention provides human sequence antibodies against human CTLA-4 and methods of treating human diseases, infections and other conditions using these antibodies.
Claims32
An isolated human antibody or antigen binding portion thereof that:
- (a) is IgG1 isotype;
- (b) binds human CTLA-4 with a binding affinity of about 108 M−1 or greater;
- and (c) inhibits binding of human CTLA-4 to B7-1 and B7-2.
An isolated human monoclonal antibody, or antigen-binding portion thereof that is IgG1 isotype and specifically binds to human CTLA-4, wherein the antibody or antigen-binding portion thereof has a binding affinity that is about 108 M−1 or greater affinity.
An isolated monoclonal antibody, or an antigen binding portion thereof, which is IgG1 isotype and competes for binding to a human CTLA-4 polypeptide with an antibody comprising the amino acid sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO:17, and the amino acid sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO:7, wherein the monoclonal antibody or antigen-binding portion thereof has a binding affinity that is about 108 M−1 or greater affinity.
