Abstract
New subtilisin homologues (both nucleic acids and proteins) are provided. Compositions which include these new proteins, recombinant cells, shuffling methods involving the new homologues, antibodies to the new homologues, and methods of using the homologues are also provided.
Claims10
An isolated or recombinant polypeptide having endoprotease activity, which comprises an amino acid sequence that is at least 95% identical to SEQ ID NO:161 over a comparison window of SEQ ID NO:161, wherein (a) the polypeptide is at least 250 amino acids in length and (b) the percent amino acid sequence identity is determined using the BLASTP program using the following parameters:
- a wordlength of 3 and an expectation of 10, and the BLOSUM62 scoring matrix.
Dependencies are inferred from the claim text.
