Abstract
A SrTiO3:Pr phosphor includes a SrTiO3:Pr phosphor material and an additive having one or more elements selected from the group consisting of W, Mo and V in a form of an elemental substance and/or a compound. A total amount of one or more elements included in the additive is in a range from 0.1 wt % to 30 wt % of the SrTiO3:Pr phosphor. The additive is WO3 and a particle size distribution of WO3 is such that a weight of WO3 whose particle diameters are in a range from 0.2 to 0.4 μm is not less than 70% of a total weight of WO3. A fluorescent luminous tube includes the SrTiO3:Pr phosphor.

A SrTiO3:Pr phosphor comprising:
- a SrTiO3:Pr phosphor material;
- and
- an additive including one or more elements selected from the group consisting of Mo and V in a form of an elemental substance and/or a metal oxide wherein the additive is of a granular shape and resides on surfaces of grains of the SrTiO3:Pr phosphor material.
A SrTiO3:Pr phosphor comprising:
- a SrTiO3:Pr phosphor material;
- and
- a WO3 additive,
- wherein a total amount of W included in the W3 additive is in a range from 0.1 wt % to 30 wt % of the SrTiO3:Pr phosphor,
- wherein the WO3 additive is of a granular shape and resides on surfaces of grains of the SrTiO3:Pr phosphor material, wherein the SrTiO3:Pr phosphor is formed by mixing and baking WO3 powder and SrTiO3:Pr phosphor material powder;
- and wherein a particle size distribution of the WO3 powder is such that a weight of WO3 particles whose diameters are in a range from 0.2 to 0.4 μm is not less than 70 wt % of a total weight of the WO3 powder, and a particle size distribution of the SrTiO3:Pr phosphor material powder is such that a weight of the SrTiO3:Pr phosphor particles whose diameters are in a range from 2 to 4 μm is not less than 70 wt % of a total weight of the SrTiO3:Pr phosphor material powder.
A SrTiO3:Pr phosphor comprising:
- a SrTiO3:Pr phosphor material;
- and
- an additive including W in a form of an elemental substance and/or a metal oxide
- wherein the additive is of a granular shape and resides on surfaces of grains of the SrTiO3:Pr phosphor material, and
- wherein the additive is WO3, and the SrTiO3:Pr phosphor is formed by mixing and baking WO3 powder and SrTiO3:Pr phosphor material powder;
- and wherein a particle size distribution of the WO3 powder is such that a weight of WO3 particles whose diameters are in a range from 0.2 to 0.4 μm is not less than 70 wt % of a total weight of the WO3 powder, and a particle size distribution of the SrTiO3:Pr phosphor material powder is such that a weight of the SrTiO3:Pr phosphor particles whose diameters are in a range from 2 to 4 μm is not less than 70 wt % of a total weight of the SrTiO3:Pr phosphor material powder.
