Abstract
A monitor has a monitor main body and a base member to support the monitor main body. The monitor includes a link member disposed between the monitor main body and the base member, a base hinge coupling the link member, which is to be rotated within a predetermined angle against the base member, with the base member, and a monitor hinge coupling the monitor main body, which is to be rotated against the link member, with the link member. The monitor includes an auxiliary link member to link the rotation of the link member against the base member with the rotation of monitor main body, and a base bracket combined to the base member to allow the base member to be installed on an inclined plane.

A monitor having a monitor main body and a base member to support the monitor main body, comprising:
- a link member disposed between the monitor main body and the base member;
- a base hinge pivotally coupling the link member with the base member, the base hinge allowing the link member to rotate about a first axis;
- a monitor hinge pivotally coupling the monitor main body with the link member, the monitor hinge allowing the monitor main body to rotate about a second axis;
- and
- an auxiliary link member coupling the base hinge with the monitor hinge to transfer at least a portion of a rotational movement of the link member about the first axis to the monitor hinge such that the monitor main body rotates about the second axis in an amount proportional to the rotational movement of the link member about the first axis, allowing the link member to be folded to an inside portion of the base member.
A monitor having a monitor main body and a base member to support the monitor main body, comprising:
- a link member provided between the monitor main body and the base member;
- a base hinge to allow the link member to rotate about a first axis;
- a monitor hinge to allow the monitor main body to rotate about a second axis;
- and
- an auxiliary link member allowing the monitor main body to rotate about the second axis when the link member and the auxiliary link member rotate about the first axis,
- wherein the monitor main body and the link member are folded with the base member by the monitor hinge and the base hinge,
- wherein the base member is provided with at least one cable port for receiving at least one of an electrical power and a display related signal, and
- wherein the monitor hinge comprises a cable accommodating groove to accommodate the cable.
A monitor having a monitor main body and a base member to support the monitor main body, comprising:
- a link member disposed between the monitor main body and the base member;

- a monitor hinge pivotally coupling the monitor main body with the link member, the monitor hinge allowing the monitor main body to rotate about a second axis;
- and
- an auxiliary link member coupling the base hinge with the monitor hinge to transfer at least a portion of a rotational movement of the link member about the first axis to the monitor hinge such that the monitor main body rotates about the second axis in an amount proportional to the rotational movement of the link member about the first axis,
- wherein at least one of the base hinge and the monitor hinge uses friction to prevent the monitor main body from being downwardly rotated about at least one of the first axis and the second axis,
- wherein the base member is provided with at least one cable port for receiving at least one of an electrical power and a display related signal, and
- wherein the monitor hinge comprises a cable accommodating groove to accommodate the cable.
A monitor supporting apparatus having a monitor main body, the monitor supporting apparatus comprising:
