Authentication service schemes

An article of manufacture including program code stored on a machine readable storage medium which, when executed by a machine, causes the machine to perform a method, the method comprising:

• reading program code from memory and processing said program code with one or more processors to perform the following:
• during a communication session, controlling access to a protected area, said controlling comprising:
• detecting a first attempt to reach said protected area;
• generating a first request for authentication service in response to said detecting of the first attempt;
• recognizing that said first attempt desires to reach an item of insensitivity within said protected area;
• in response to said recognizing, permitting said first attempt to reach said item of insensitivity within said protected area by preventing said authentication service from responding to said first request;
• detecting a second attempt to reach said protected area;
• generating a second request for authentication service in response to said detecting of the second attempt;
• recognizing that said second attempt desires to reach an item of sensitivity within said protected area;
• performing said authentication service in response to said recognizing that said second item desires to reach said item of sensitivity within said protected area.

A computing system comprising instructions disposed on a computer readable storage medium, said instructions capable of being executed by said computing system to perform a method, said method comprising:

• reading program code from memory and processing said program code with one or more processors to perform the following:
• during a communication session, controlling access to a protected area, said controlling comprising:
• detecting a first attempt to reach said protected area;
• generating a first request for authentication service in response to said detecting of the first attempt;
• recognizing that said first attempt desires to reach an item of insensitivity within said protected area;
• in response to said recognizing, permitting said first attempt to reach said item of insensitivity within said protected area by preventing said authentication service from responding to said first request;
• detecting a second attempt to reach said protected area;
• generating a second request for authentication service in response to said detecting of the second attempt;
• recognizing that said second attempt desires to reach an item of sensitivity within said protected area;
• performing said authentication service in response to said recognizing that said second item desires to reach said item of sensitivity within said protected area.
