A compound of the following formula, and analogs thereof:
- wherein:
- R1 is H, OH, NH2, N3, halogen;
- R2 is H, OH, NH2, N3, halogen;
- R3 is H, NH2, substituted amino, halogen;
- R4 is H, OH, NO2, CN, N3, NCS, halogen;
- R5 is H, OH, NO2, CN, N3, NCS, halogen, halogen-CH2COCH3;
- R6 is H, OH, NO2, CN, N3, NCS, halogen, halogen-CH2COCH3;
- R7 is H, OH, NO2, CN, N3, NCS, halogen;
- R8 is H, OH, OCH3, NO2, CN, N3, NCS, halogen, A-Reporter where A is O, S, NH, and the Reporter is a tethered reporter group;
- provided that substituents R4, R5, R6, R7, cannot all be H at the same time if R1 is H, R2 is OH, R3 is H and R8 is OH.
