Abstract
The invention provides radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic applications, conjugates of antioxidants with metal chelating ligands, intermediate compounds, methods of making such radiopharmaceuticals, ligands, and intermediate compounds, and kits for preparing the radiopharmaceutical complexes.

A kit for the preparation of a radiopharmaceutical, the kit comprising an antioxidant selected from the group consisting of ascorbic acid,
- 2-O-octadecylascorbic acid, 6-hydroxy ascorbic acid, para-aminobenzoic acid (PABA), cysteine, monothioglycerol, gentisic acid or inositol covalently bound to a radiopharmaceutical ligand selected from the group consisting of Oxa-PnAO, N,N-dimethyl Gly-Ser-Cys-Gly, N,N-dimethyl-Gly-t-butylGly-Cys-Gly, or DOTA, optionally including a targeting molecule.
