Abstract
An electrophotographic photoreceptor is disclosed which is provided with an anti-corrosion layer on the interface between the substrate surface and hole blocking layer. The photoreceptor has high mechanical strength and minimizes defects in print for longer periods of time.
Claims3
A photoreceptor comprising in sequence:
- a supporting substrate layer, an anticorrosion layer, an undercoat layer, a charge generating layer and a charge transport layer, wherein the anticorrosion layer is provided at an interface between the substrate layer and the undercoat layer, wherein said anti-corrosion layer comprises a doped polymer layer comprising electron transport molecules or derivatives thereof represented by the general formula:
- wherein each R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6, R7 and R8 is independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, alkyl having 1 to 40 carbon atoms, alkoxy having 1 to 40 carbon atoms, phenyl, substituted phenyl, naphthalene, antracene, alkylphenyl having 6 to 40 carbons, alkoxyphenyl having 6 to 40 carbons, and aryl having 6 to 30 carbons and optionally substituted with halogen.
