Abstract
The present invention relates to a print roll assembly. The print roll assembly includes a print roll which, in turn, includes an elongate former carrying a continuous sheet of print media. An ink supply for being received within the former is also provided, and defines a plurality of ink chambers for each receiving a respective type of ink. The assembly may further include a plurality of absorbent sponges for each being received within a respective ink chamber.

A print roll assembly including:
- an elongate former;
- a print roll of continuous sheet print media stored around the elongate former;
- an ink supply provided within the elongate former, and which defines a plurality of ink chambers for each receiving a respective type of ink;
- and
- a plurality of absorbent sponges for each being received within a respective ink chamber.
