Wireless communication terminal and mobile type wireless communication terminal

A wireless communication terminal, comprising:

• a first case member;
• a second case member;
• a coupling portion that couples the first and second case members so that a positional relation between the first and second case members can be changed;
• an external wireless communication antenna provided at the first case member;
• an external wireless communication control portion that controls external wireless communication carried out through the external wireless communication antenna;
• a first internal wireless communication antenna;
• a first internal wireless communication control portion that controls internal wireless communication carried out through the first internal wireless communication antenna;
• a second internal wireless communication antenna;
• a second internal wireless communication control portion that controls internal wireless communication carried out through the second internal wireless communication antenna;
• a carrier detecting portion that detects an output level of waves transmitted from the external wireless communication antenna;
• and
• an output control portion that controls output power of waves transmitted from at least one of the first and second internal wireless communication antennas based on the output level detected by the carrier detecting portion,
• wherein the output power control portion sets transmission power of the internal wireless communication carried out at a time of transmission by the external wireless communication to be larger than the transmission power of the internal wireless communication carried out at a time of non-transmission by the external wireless communication.

A mobile type wireless communication terminal having two case members coupled so that their relative position can be changed, the terminal comprising:

• an internal wireless communication portion that transmits/receives data between the two case members;
• and
• an external wireless communication portion that wirelessly communicates with an external device, the external wireless communication portion being disposed in at least one of the two case members,
• wherein a transmission power of the internal wireless communication carried out at a time of transmission by the external wireless communication portion is set to be larger than a transmission power of the internal wireless communication portion carried out at a time of non-transmission by the external wireless communication portion.

An internal wireless communication controlling method for use with a wireless communication terminal, comprising:

• conducting external wireless communication between an external wireless communication portion provided in a first case member of the wireless communication terminal and a wireless communication device which is different from the wireless communication terminal;
• detecting an output level of waves transmitted from the external wireless communication portion;
• determining whether external wireless communication is in progress based on a detected output level of waves;
• and
• controlling an internal wireless communication transmission power while the external wireless communication portion is transmitting an external wireless communication to be larger than an internal wireless communication transmission power when the external wireless communication control portion is not sending said external wireless communication.

An internal wireless communication controlling method for use with a wireless communication terminal, comprising:

• conducting external wireless communication between an external communication portion provided in one of a first case member of the wireless communication terminal and a wireless communication device which is different from the wireless communication terminal;
• detecting a communication environment based on a signal received by the external wireless communication portion;
• controlling external wireless communication transmission power with an output power control portion located at least one of said first case member and a second case member based on said communication environment detected;
• and
• controlling an internal wireless communication transmission power while said external wireless communication portion is transmitting an external wireless communication to be larger than an internal wireless communication transmission power when the external wireless communication portion is not sending said external wireless communication;
• wherein an extent to which said internal wireless communication transmission power is larger at a time of transmitting an external wireless communication is based on said external wireless communication transmission power controlled by said output power control portion.
