Abstract
An exposure parameter is determined based on an illumination condition by calculating a red divided by green (R/G) value, calculating a blue divided by green (B/G) value, and comparing the R/G and B/G values to a predetermined auto-white balancing map to determine the exposure parameter.

A method for determining an exposure parameter based on an illumination condition, the method comprising:
- calculating a red divided by green (R/G) value;
- calculating a blue divided by green (B/G) value;
- and
- comparing the R/G and B/G values to a predetermined auto-white balancing map to determine the exposure parameter.
