Abstract
Process for the obtention of HFC-227ea having a reduced content of organic impurities, comprising at least subjecting a crude HFC-227ea to two distillation steps at different pressures.
Claims12
A process for purifying HFC-227ea which comprises distilling at a pressure from 6 to 30 bar of a HFC-227ea which comprises HFC-227ea, water and optionally low boiling impurities, and withdrawing an azeotropic or pseudo-azeotropic mixture comprising HFC-227ea, water and low boiling impurities from said distillation and recovering the purified HFC-227ea.
