Abstract
A composition and kit for hair dyeing comprising a first liquid containing an alkaline ingredient and an oxidation dye and a second liquid containing an oxidant wherein the improvement being the addition of a chlorophyll derivative, such as sodium iron chlorophyllin, into the first liquid.

A hair dye comprising a first liquid that contains an alkaline composition, an oxidation dye composition and a sodium iron chlorophyllin composition;
- and a second liquid comprising an oxidant composition.
A hair dye comprising a first liquid that contains an alkaline composition, an oxidation dye composition and a sodium iron chlorophyllin composition between about 0.01% and about 0.02% of the total weight of the compositions in the first liquid;
- and a second liquid comprising an oxidant composition.
