Abstract
A catalyst composition that comprises an over flocculated molecular sieve and optionally, a phosphorous compound and, optionally, a non-over flocculated molecular sieve. A method of preparing a catalyst composition that comprises mixing an over flocculated molecular sieve and optionally, a phosphorous compound and, optionally, a non-over flocculated molecular sieve.
Claims30
A process for producing one or more olefin(s), the process comprising the steps of:
- (a) introducing a feedstock comprising one or more oxygenates to a reactor system in the presence of a molecular sieve catalyst composition prepared by the method comprising the steps of:
- (i) combining:
- (A) an over flocculated molecular sieve;
- (B) a binder;
- and
- (C) optionally, a matrix material;
- to form a catalyst slurry;
- and
- (ii) milling the catalyst slurry;
- (b) withdrawing from the reactor system an effluent stream;
- and
- (c) passing the effluent stream through a recovery system recovering at least the one or more olefin(s).
