Abstract
In a machine tool comprising at least one tool carrier and at least one moveable workpiece carrier with which one or more workpieces are positionable for machining, a tool can be changed in a simple manner by providing a tool holding device connected to the at least one workpiece carrier.
Claims11
A machine tool, comprising:
- a plurality of work stations, wherein each work station comprises at least one tool carrier holding a tool for machining;
- a framework, said at least one tool carrier rigidly mounted on the framework, wherein a plurality of the tool carriers is arranged in a row and a plurality of rows is provided;
- at least one moveable workpiece carrier with which one or more workpieces are positionable for machining, said workpiece carrier moveable between the rows;
- wherein a tool holding device is mounted on the at least one workpiece carrier.
