Abstract
A bicycle brake friction member comprises titanium fibers and a resin.
Claims14
A bicycle brake friction member comprising:
- titanium fibers, wherein a length of the titanium fibers is in a range of from approximately 10 μm to approximately 3 mm;
- a resin binder;
- aramid fibers;
- an abrasive material;
- a powdered metal other than titanium;
- an antifriction material;
- and
- a friction adjusting material;
- wherein a fibrous hard phase of the friction member is constituted primarily by the titanium fibers.
