## Abstract

Compounds having the structure of formula I wherein R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, and R6 are as defined herein, are prokinetic agents and can be used to treat disorders of gastric motility.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A method of treating a disorder of gastric motility in a subject suffering from such disorder, comprising administering to the subject a therapeutically effective dose of a compound having the structure of IVa:
or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or ester thereof.

### Claim 2

A method of treating a disorder of gastric motility in a subject suffering from such disorder, comprising administering to the subject a therapeutically effective dose of a compound having the structure of IVb
or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or ester thereof.

A pharmaceutical composition comprising a compound having the structure of formula IVa
or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or ester thereof.
