Abstract
A snowmobile includes a seat having a rear end with a rear end face. The rear end face is inclined upwardly and rearwardly from an upper surface of a tunnel of a frame so that a cavity is defined beneath the seat between the inclined rear end face of the seat and the upper surface of the tunnel.

A snowmobile comprising:
- a frame including a tunnel having an upper surface;
- an engine located on the frame, the engine including a cylinder block defining a cylinder bore having a cylinder bore axis, the cylinder block defining an exhaust port communicating with the cylinder bore, the cylinder block defining an inlet port communicating with the cylinder bore, the inlet port and the exhaust port being disposed on the same side of the engine;
- a drive track disposed below and supported by the tunnel and operatively connected to the engine for propulsion of the snowmobile;
- first and second skis mounted to the frame by first and second front suspensions, respectively;
- a seat disposed on the tunnel above the drive track and rearward of the engine, the seat having a rear end with a rear end face, the rear end face being inclined upwardly and rearwardly with respect to the upper surface of the tunnel so that a cavity is defined beneath the seat between the inclined rear end face and the upper surface of the tunnel;
- and
- a steering device coupled to the frame forward of the seat and operatively connected to the first and second skis for steering the snowmobile.

A snowmobile comprising:
- a frame including a tunnel having an upper surface;
- a drive track supported by the frame and disposed below and the tunnel;
- a drive comprising an engine connected to the frame and a drivetrain operatively coupling the engine to the drive track for propulsion of the snowmobile, the engine including a cylinder block defining a cylinder bore having a cylinder bore axis, the cylinder block defining an exhaust port communicating with the cylinder bore, the cylinder block defining an inlet port communicating with the cylinder bore, the inlet port and the exhaust port being disposed on the same side of the engine;
- and
- a seat disposed on the tunnel above the drive track and rearward of the engine, the seat having a rear end with a rear end face, the rear end face being inclined upwardly and rearwardly from the upper surface of the tunnel so that a cavity is defined beneath the seat between the inclined rear end face of the seat and the upper surface of the tunnel.
