Abstract
A die opening and closing system includes a fixed die plate holding a fixed die, a moveable die plate holding a moveable die able to move in a horizontal die opening and closing direction with respect to said fixed die plate, only one ball-screw feed mechanism moving said moveable die plate in a die opening and closing direction, and only one balance cylinder system reducing a load of said ball-screw feed mechanism and a die opening and closing method related to the same.
Claims5
A die opening and closing system comprising:
- a fixed die plate holding a fixed die,
- a moveable die plate holding a moveable die and able to move in a horizontal die opening and closing direction with respect to said fixed die plate,
- only one ball-screw feed mechanism moving said moveable die plate in a die opening and closing direction, and
- only one balance cylinder system reducing a load of said ball-screw feed mechanism.
A die opening and closing method making a moveable die plate holding a moveable die advance and retract in a horizontal die opening and closing direction with respect to a fixed die plate holding a fixed die, which comprises
- providing only one ball-screw feed mechanism moving said moveable die plate in a die opening and closing direction and only one balance cylinder system reducing a load of said ball-screw feed mechanism and,
- based on an output of a motor serving as a drive source of said ball-screw feed mechanism, maintains a load of said motor at a predetermined value by controlling an operation of said balance cylinder system.
