The present invention relates to novel micro-organism, Penicillium funiculosum, to new enzymes mixture obtained from it and nucleic acid sequences thereto.

An isolated Penicillium funiculosum strain deposited as IMI No 378536.
A method of preparing a culture supematant of a Penicillium funiculosum strain, the method comprising:
- (a) fermenting the strain in a liquid culture medium;
- (b) removing solids from the medium;
- and
- (c) recovering the supernatant,
- wherein the strain is the Penicillium funiculosum strain deposited as IMI No 378536.
