Abstract
A curable composition is described comprising a Michael donor component, a polyacryl component, and 1) an ethylenically unsaturated monomer having a reactive azlactone functional group, or 2) an ethylenically unsaturated monomer having a reactive ring-opened azlactone functional group. A telechelic polymer that is the reaction product of these components is also described.
Claims12
A curable composition comprising:
- a) a Michael donor component
- b) a polyacryl Michael acceptor component, and
- c) an ethylenically unsaturated monomer having a ring-opened azlactone functional group, wherein said composition is curable by Michael addition between the Michael donor component, and the Michael acceptor component and the ethylenical ly unsaturated monomer having a ring-opened azlactone functional group.
