Abstract
A composition comprising: (a) a compound of Formula (1) wherein: R1, R2, R3 and R4 independently are substituents; m and p independently are 0 to 3; and n and q independently are 0 to 2: provided that the compound of Formula (1) comprises at least one water solubilising group; and (b) a liquid media. Also novel compounds and ink-jet printer inks, processes and cartridges.
Claims15
A composition comprising:
- (a) a compound of Formula (1)
- wherein:
- R1, R2, R3 and R4 independently are substituents and at least one of the groups represented by R1, R2, R3 and R4 is —S—Rc, —O—Rcor —NH—Rc wherein Rc is optionally substituted C1-4-alkyl or optionally substituted phenyl;
- m and p independently are 0 to 3;
- and
- n and q independently are 0 to 2:
- provided that the compound of Formula (1) comprises at least one water solubilising group;
- and
- (b) a liquid media.

A compound of Formula (2) and salts thereof:
- wherein:
- R5 is selected from the group consisting of —S—Rd, —O—Rdor —NH—Rd wherein Rd is optionally substituted C1-4-alkyl, or optionally substituted phenyl;
- R6 is a substituent;
- x is 1 to 4;
- and
- y is 0 to 9;
- provided that the compound of Formula (2) comprises at least one water solubilizing group.
