Abstract
The color display device includes a colored light generation unit for repetitively generating a plurality of colored lights in a time sequence with a predetermined frequency, and an image generation unit for processing said plurality of colored lights, so as to generate an image corresponding to each of the plurality of colored lights generated in a time sequence. The said predetermined frequency is 180 Hz or more.
Claims21
A color display device, comprising:
- a colored light generation unit that repetitively generates a plurality of colored lights in a time sequence with a predetermined frequency;
- and
- an image generation unit that processes said plurality of colored lights, so as to generate an image corresponding to each of said plurality of colored lights generated in a time sequence, said predetermined frequency being equal to or greater than 250 Hz so as to reduce or eliminate color breakup caused by intermittent high speed jump eye movement, the intermittent high speed jump eye movement being an eye movement that compensates a shifting rate of an object beyond a following rate of the eye, the following rate of the eye being a shifting rate of the eye when following an object.
A color display method, comprising:
- repetitively generating a plurality of colored lights in a time sequence with a predetermined frequency;
- and
- processing said plurality of colored lights, so as to generate an image corresponding to each of said plurality of colored lights generated in a time sequence, said predetermined frequency being equal to or greater than 250 Hz so as to reduce or eliminate color breakup caused by intermittent high speed jump eye movement, the intermittent high speed jump eye movement being an eye movement that compensates a shifting rate of an object beyond a following rate of the eye, the following rate of the eye being a shifting rate of the eye when following an object.
A projector comprising:
- a colored light generation unit that repetitively generates a plurality of colored lights in a time sequence with a predetermined frequency;
- an image generation unit that processes said plurality of colored lights, so as to generate an image corresponding to each of said plurality of colored lights generated in a time sequence, said predetermined frequency being equal to or greater than 250 Hz so as to reduce or eliminate color breakup caused by intermittent high speed jump eye movement, the intermittent high speed jump eye movement being an eye movement that compensates a shifting rate of an object beyond a following rate of the eye, the following rate of the eye being a shifting rate of the eye when following an object;
- and
- a lens that projects the image.
