DC voltage converter and method for converting a DC voltage

A DC voltage converter, comprising:

• an energy store coupled to an input and configured to supply a DC voltage;
• a first output configured to provide a first output voltage;
• a second output configured to provide a second output voltage;
• a first switch configured to selectively couple the energy store to the first output, the first switch comprising a first field effect transistor;
• a second switch configured to selectively couple the energy store to the second output, the second switch comprising a second field effect transistor;
• a further switch coupled to the energy store;
• and
• a control unit configured to receive signals at the first and second outputs, and coupled to the first switch, the second switch, and the further switch;
• wherein the second field effect transistor comprises a substrate terminal coupled to the control unit, and wherein the control unit is configured to provide a substrate potential to the substrate terminal that is dependent on an operating mode of the DC voltage converter.
