Abstract
The present invention provides pyrazole derived compounds of formula (I) useful for treating p38 kinase-associated conditions, where W, X, R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6 and m are as defined herein. The invention further pertains to pharmaceutical compositions containing at least one compound according to the invention useful for treating p38 kinase-associated conditions, and methods of inhibiting the activity of p38 kinase in a mammal.

A compound having the formula (I),
- wherein:
- ring G is phenyl;
- W is —CH(R8)NH—, wherein R8 is hydrogen or alkyl;
- R1 is hydrogen, alkyl, substituted alkyl, aryl, substituted aryl, heteroaryl, substituted heteroaryl, cycloalkyl, substituted cycloalkyl, heterocyclo or substituted heterocyclo;
- R2 is hydrogen, alkyl, or substituted alkyl;
- R3 is hydrogen, C1-4alkyl, or substituted C1-4alkyl;
- R4 is hydrogen, C1-4alkyl, or substituted C1-4alkyl;
- X is —(C═O)NH—;
- R6 is hydrogen, alkyl or substituted alkyl, alkoxy or substituted alkoxy, phenoxy or substituted phenoxy, cycloalkyl or substituted cycloalkyl, heterocycle or substituted heterocycle, aryl or substituted aryl;
- and
- m is 0;
- or a pharmaceutically-acceptable salt, hydrate, solvent, stereoisomer, or prodrug thereof.
