Abstract
Compositions of 1.1.1,2,2,4,5,5,5-nonafluoro-4 (trifluoromethyl)-3 pentanone can be used in heat transfer refrigeration and air conditioning systems. The compositions may be in combination with fluoroethers. The compositions may be azeotropic or near azeotropic.
Claims16
A composition comprising about 32 to about 90 weight percent 1,1,1,2,24,5,5,5-nonafluoro-4-(trifluoromethyl)-3-pentanone and about 68 to about 10 weight percent 1,1,1,3,3,3-hexafluoro-2-methoxypropane.
A composition comprising:
- 71.0 weight percent 1,1,1,2,2,4,5,5,5-nonafluoro-4-(trifluoromethyl)-3-pentanone and 29.0 weight percent 1,1,1,3,3,3-hexafluoro-2-methoxypropane having a vapor pressure of about 14.7 psia (101 kPa) at a temperature of about 40.8° C.
