Abstract
The subject matter of the invention is the use of MoO3 as a corrosion coating composition for metal parts, characterized in that it comprises: at least one particulate metal; an organic solvent; a thickener; a silane-based binder, preferably carrying epoxy functional groups; molybdenum oxide (MoO3); possibly a silicate of sodium, potassium or lithium; and water.
Claims15
A method of enhancing the anti-corrosion properties of an anti-corrosion coating composition containing from 30% to 60% by weight of water based on a particulate metal containing zinc or a zinc alloy in aqueous phase, and comprising a binder, which method comprises the step of adding molybdenum oxide to the anti-corrosion coating composition.
A method of enhancing the anti-corrosion properties of an anti-corrosion coating composition containing a silane-based binder carrying epoxy functional groups based on a particulate metal containing zinc or a zinc alloy in aqueous phase, and comprising a binder, which method comprises the step of adding molybdenum oxide to the anti-corrosion coating composition.
