Abstract
A method of using guava extract is disclosed that includes administering alcohol to a mammal, and administering guava extract within no greater than about 12 hours of administering of the alcohol. A composition is also disclosed that includes a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier and guava extract.
Claims24
A method of treating a mammal having an elevated blood alcohol content, said method comprising administering guava extract to the mammal, wherein said mammal has a blood alcohol content of at least 0.05% prior to said administering.
A method of decreasing the aldehyde content in a mammal experiencing elevated levels of aldehyde, said method comprising administering at least 250 mg of guava extract to said mammal.
A method of using guava extract, said method comprising:
- administering alcohol to a mammal;
- and
- administering at least 250 mg of guava extract within no greater than about 12 hours of said administering of said alcohol.
A method of treating a mammal having an elevated blood alcohol content, said method comprising administering at least 250 mg of guava extract to the mammal.
The method of using guava extract, said method comprising:
- administering alcohol to a mammal;
- and
- administering guava extract within no greater than about 12 hours of said administering of said alcohol, said administering guava extract occurring prior to said administering alcohol.
