Abstract
The invention relates to a device for transmitting optical signals between at least two components disposed for rotation. The invention excels itself by the provision that at least one micro-optical component is used for beam forming or beam guidance.
Claims12
Method for manufacturing an optical joint as an interface for a multiple channel transmission of optical signals between parts mobile for translation or rotation, comprising:
- forming a micro-optical component as a single, monolithic unit of optical elements selected from optical beam-guiding elements and optical beam-shaping elements;
- disposing the micro-optical component on one of at least two parts that are mobile in rotation or translation relative to each other during optical signal transmission;
- and
- a de-rotational optical system provided between the parts when at least one of the multiple channels is to be transmitted outside a rotational axis of a part.
