Adjustable length upper frame member for eyeglasses

An eyeglass assembly having an adjustable frame comprising:

• a brow bar member including:
• a central portion with first and second temple extensions extending from opposing sides thereof, said first and second temple extensions having receiver formations thereon;
• and
• first and second temple bar assemblies each having a mating temple extension, a temple bar and a hinge disposed between said mating temple extension and said temple bar, said mating temple extensions formed to include a mating formation complementary to said receiver formations and said temple bars formed as an earpiece, said mating formations being selectively engaged with said receiver formations wherein said temple bar assemblies are repositionable relative to said central portion of said brow bar;
• and
• a lens assembly affixed to said central portion of said brow bar member,
• wherein a width defined between said earpieces of said first and second temple bar assemblies is adjustable by repositioning said temple bar assemblies relative to said temple extensions.

An eyeglass assembly comprising:

• a lens having a top portion, said top portion having a receiver channel with first and second openings in opposing ends thereof;
• first and second brow bar members each having a terminal end complementary to said openings on a first end thereof and a first portion of a hinge on a second end thereof, said terminal ends being received into said openings;
• and
• first and second temple bars affixed to said first portion of said hinges on said first and second brow bar members.
