Abstract
The present invention relates to a process for producing a wear-resistant coating and to a wear-resistant coating on predetermined surfaces of machine or engine parts, in particular for internal combustion engines, which are exposed to frictional wear, comprising at least one nanocrystalline functional layer (4) made up of at least two CrNx phases for reducing friction and increasing the wear resistance of the predetermined surface (2) of the machine or engine part (1).
Claims26
Wear-resistant coating on predetermined surfaces of machine or engine parts, which are exposed to frictional wear, comprising at least one nanocrystalline functional layer made up of at least two CrNx phases for reducing friction and increasing the wear resistance of the predetermined surface of the machine or engine part, wherein the at least one functional layer has a grain size in the region of 10 nm.
Process for producing a wear-resistant coating on predetermined surfaces of machine or engine parts which are exposed to frictional wear, comprising the following process step:
- applying at least one nanocrystalline functional layer comprising at least two CrNx phases to the predetermined surface of the machine or engine part for reducing friction and increasing the wear resistance of the predetermined surface of the machine or engine part, such that the at least one functional layer has a grain size in the region of 10 nm.
