Phthalocyanine compound, method for production thereof, and near infrared absorbing dye and near infrared absorbing filter using same

A phthalocyanine compound (1) represented by the following formula (1):

• Z2, Z3, Z6, Z7, Z10, Z11, Z14, and Z15 independently stand for SR1, SR2, OR3 or a halogen atom and at least one of them stands for SR2,
• Z1, Z4, Z5, Z8, Z9, Z12, Z13, and Z16 independently stand for NHR4, NHR5, SR1, SR2, OR3, or a halogen atom and at least one of them stands for NHR5 and at least four of them stand for OR3,
• R1 stands for a phenyl group optionally having a substituent, an aralkyl group optionally having a substituent, or an alkyl group of 1–20 carbon atoms optionally having a substituent, R2 stands for a phenyl group optionally possessing an alkoxyl group of 1–20 carbon atoms, R3 and R4 independently stand for a phenyl group optionally having a substituent, an aralkyl group optionally having a substituent, or an alkyl group of 1–20 carbon atoms optionally having a substituent, R5 stands for an alkyl group of 1–20 carbon atoms optionally having a substituent, pluralities respectively of R1, R2, R3, R4, and R5 may be individually identical or different, and M stands for a nonmetal, a metal, a metal oxide, or a metal halide.
