A colorant for ocular lenses represented by the following formula (I):
- wherein Y represents H or CH3;
- and n is an integer of from 1 to 5.
A colorant for ocular lenses represented by the following formula (II):
- wherein Y represents H or CH3;
- and n is an integer of from 1 to 5.
A material for colored ocular lenses comprising at least one of:
- a colorant represented by the following formula (I):
- wherein Y represents H or CH3;
- and n is an integer of from 1 to 5;
- and
- a colorant represented by the following formula (II):
- wherein Y represents H or CH3;
- and n is an integer of from 1 to 5.
