Abstract
One pixel is divided into a first region including a first light emitting element and a second region including a second light emitting element, wherein the first region emits light in one direction and the second region emits light in the direction opposite to that of the first region. Independently driving the first light emitting element and the second light emitting element allows images to be displayed independently on the surface.
Claims20
A light emitting device comprising:
- a pixel portion in which pixels formed of light emitting elements are arranged in matrix form, and a first light emitting element and a second emitting element of the light emitting elements have an organic layer containing an electroluminescence material,
- wherein the first light emitting element includes a pair of first electrodes in which one of the pair of first electrodes is a first translucent electrode and the other is a first nontranslucent electrode under the first translucent electrode, with a part of the organic layer interposed therebetween;
- and
- wherein the second light emitting element includes a pair of second electrodes in which one is a second translucent electrode and the other is a second nontranslucent electrode over the second translucent electrode, with a part of the organic layer interposed therebetween
- wherein an organic resin film is under a part of the organic layer and a part of the organic resin film is between the first nontranslucent electrode of the first light emitting element and the second translucent electrode of the second light emitting element.

- wherein the first light emitting element includes a pair of first electrodes in which one of the pair of first electrodes is a first translucent electrode and the other is a first nontranslucent electrode under the first translucent electrode, with a part of the organic layer interposed therebetween;
- and
- wherein the second light emitting element includes a pair of second electrodes in which one is a second translucent electrode and the other is a second nontranslucent electrode over the second translucent electrode, with a part of the organic layer interposed therebetween,
- wherein the second light emitting element further comprises:
- a reflecting electrode over the second nontranslucent electrode;
- and
- a transparent protective film over the reflecting electrode.
