Abstract
The present invention provides methods for culturing normal and malignant human bladder epithelial cells for many generations, and compositions of matter to be used in the methods.
Claims2
A method of culturing normal human bladder epithelial cells comprising:
- plating a confluent monolayer of non-proliferating epithelial cells and normal human bladder epithelial cells in medium on a culture support;
- and
- incubating the plated cells under conditions appropriate to allow the normal human bladder epithelial cells to proliferate;
- wherein the non-proliferating epithelial cells have been mitotically inactivated to be non-proliferating.
