Abstract
A printing cartridge includes a cover that defines a cylindrical storage volume and a print media feed slot. A cylindrical hollow core extends along a central axis of the cover. At least one ink container is positioned in the core. A length of print media is rolled about the core and positioned to be fed from the slot. A feed mechanism is positioned in the cover and is engageable by a drive mechanism of a printer from a position outside the cover and operable on the print media to feed the print media from the slot.

A printing cartridge that comprises
- a cover that defines a cylindrical storage volume and a print media feed slot;
- a cylindrical hollow core that extends along a central axis of the cover, at least one ink container being positioned in the core;
- a length of print media rolled about the core and positioned to be fed from the slot;
- and
- a feed mechanism positioned in the cover and engageable by a drive mechanism of a printer from a position outside the cover and operable on the print media to feed the print media from the slot.
