Abstract
The present invention relates to a composition and method comprising purified HA, a second anti-neoplastic agent and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier, wherein the purified HA and the second anti-neoplastic agent are administered to a mammal having cancer in an amount effective to treat the cancer.

A composition comprising purified hyaluronic acid, a second anti-neoplastic agent and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier, wherein the second anti-neoplastic agent is Mycobacterium phlei DNA (M-DNA), Mycobacterium phlei cell wall complex (MCC), an oligonucleotide, or a combination thereof, wherein the oligonucleotide is SEQ ID NO:1 or SEQ ID NO:

A method comprising administering a composition comprising purified hyaluronic acid, a second anti-neoplastic agent and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier to a mammal having cancer in an amount effective to treat the cancer,
- wherein the second anti-neoplastic agent is Mycobacterium phlei DNA (M-DNA), Mycobacterium phlei DNA (M-DNA)-Mycobacterium phlei cell wall complex (MCC), an oligonucleotide, tamoxifen, or a combination thereof, and wherein the oligonucleotide is SEQ ID NO:

A method comprising administering a composition comprising purified hyaluronic acid, a second anti-neoplastic agent and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier to a mammal having cancer in an amount effective to treat the cancer,
- wherein the second anti-neoplastic agent is a Mycobacterium phlei DNA (M-DNA), Mycobacterium phlei DNA (M-DNA)-Mycobacterium phlei cell wall complex (MCC), an oligonucleotide or tamoxifen,
- wherein the oligonucleotide is SEQ ID NO:

- 2, and,
- the cancer is squamous cell carcinoma, fibrosarcoma, sarcoid carcinoma, melanoma, mammary cancer, lung cancer, colorectal cancer, renal cancer, osteosarcoma, cutaneous melanoma, basal cell carcinoma, pancreatic cancer, bladder cancer, brain cancer, ovarian cancer, prostate cancer, leukemia or lymphoma.
