Abstract
The present invention is directed to nucleotide sequences coding for a bacterial enolase enzyme. These sequences may be used in improved methods for the fermentative preparation of amino acids using coryneform bacteria.
Claims8
An isolated nucleic acid comprising a polynucleotide sequence selected from the group consisting of:
- (a) the polynucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 1;
- (b) a polynucleotide sequence encoding the polypeptide sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 2;
- and
- (c) a polynucleotide sequence fully complementary to (a) or (b).
