Liquid crystal display device with a structure receiving a back light assembly and a display unit

A liquid Crystal display device, comprising:

• a back light assembly having a light source and a luminance improving device that guides the light;
• a receiver including a first receptacle module composed of a first material and a second receptacle module composed of a second material that is different from the first material to provide a receiving space where the back light assembly is located by engaging the first receptacle module having a first engaging member, a longitudinal direction of the first receptacle module being substantially perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of the second receptacle module;
• and
• a bottom plate extending from the second receptacle module into the receiving space, the bottom plate having a second engaging member combined with the first engaging member without an intermediate member therebetween, and wherein the second receptacle module comprises a groove shape portion to directly support the back light assembly.
