Abstract
The present invention provides a method of using autologous fibroblasts to promote wound or fistula healing in an animal.
Claims22
A method of promoting healing of a fistula in an animal, wherein said fistula has a fistula tract opening and is susceptible to healing upon administration of autologous fibroblasts, which method comprises:
- (a) obtaining autologous fibroblasts, and
- (b) administering the autologous fibroblasts in the form of an injection into the fistula tract opening, wherein the said autologous fibroblasts promote healing of the fistula.
