Claims14
A medical device comprising:
- a first anchoring member for anchoring to a cardiac tissue and a second anchoring member for anchoring to said cardiac tissue;
- a ligature coupling said first anchoring member and said second anchoring member;
- a catheter device having a proximal end and a distal end, said catheter device comprising a catheter lumen configured to accommodate a first deployment shaft and a second deployment shaft, said first anchoring member being releasably coupled to said first deployment shaft, said second anchoring member being releasably coupled to said second deployment shaft, said catheter device further comprises a guidewire lumen for a guidewire to be disposed therethrough and a compartment at said catheter device distal end to house said ligature;
- and
- a delivery handle coupled to said catheter device proximal end, wherein said delivery handle further comprises a first deployment mechanism connected to said first deployment shaft and a second deployment mechanism connected to said second deployment shaft.
