Abstract

The invention relates to a method for producing perfluoroalkanesulfonic acid esters and for further transforming the same into the salts thereof. The invention also relates to the use of the produced compounds in electrolytes, batteries, capacitors, supercapacitors, and galvanic cells.

Dependent claims

A process for the preparation of compounds containing perfluoroalkanesulfonic acid groups, comprising the step of reacting perfluoroalkanesulfonic anhydride is reacted with dialkyl carbonate in the presence of perfluoroalkanesulfonic acid to give an alkyl perfluoroalkanesulfonate.
