Abstract
A radio (100) provides multiple audio modes of operation, such as a cellular and dispatch modes. Illumination devices (108, 110) are located near the radio's audio sources (104, 106) and become activated to indicate to the user which mode of operation is present.
Claims5
A radio, having:
- a cellular mode of operation and a dispatch mode or operation;
- a first speaker for use in the cellular mode of operation;
- a second speaker for use in the dispatch mode of operation;
- a first light source coupled to the radio for indicating the cellular mode of operation is present;
- and
- a second light source coupled to the radio for indicating the dispatch mode of operation is present.
